Installing on Mac Computer

  1. Download the Barracuda VPN application here
  2. Install the downloaded application on your computer
  3. Download the Lower Campus VPN profile here
  4. Download the Upper Campus VPN profile here
  5. Navigate to the folder where the profiles were downloaded into
  6. For each profile, do the following:
    1. Double-click on the profile
    2. When the window appears, click "Save" at the bottom
  7. When done, you can now use the VPN. Perform the following to get connected:
    1. At the top-right of the screen, click the key symbol next to or near the wi-fi symbol
    2. When the window appears, click the "Profile" dropdown menu
    3. Choose the profile of the campus you want to connect to (Most of the time, it will be Upper-Campus)
    4. Enter your Single Sign-On username and password in the "User Authentication" fields
    5. Click "Connect" at the bottom
  8. Sometimes connecting will fail with an error "Open Failed: no such file or directory", if so, do the following:
    1. Open "System Preferences"
    2. Select "Security & Privacy"
    3. Towards the bottom, there should be some text about "blocked from loading". Click "Allow" next to the text
    4. Once done, try connecting again

Installing on Windows Computer

  1. Download the Barracuda VPN application here
  2. To install the application, perform the following:
    1. Run the installer
    2. When the "Setup Type" section appears, select "VPN Client + Personal Firewall + Health Monitoring"
    3. When the "Application Settings" section appears, ensure "Allow user-specific VPN profiles" is checked
    4. When the installer completes, reboot your computer
  3. Download the Lower Campus VPN profile here
  4. Download the Upper Campus VPN profile here
  5. Navigate to the right side of the taskbar where the application icons are
  6. Right-click on the key symbol
  7. When options appear, choose "VPN..."
  8. When the window appears, at the top-middle of the window, click the yellow link that says "Click here to restart with elevated privileges"
  9. When the window reappears, do the following for each VPN profile:
    1. Right-click in the blank area of "VPN Profiles"
    2. When options appear, choose "Import VPN Profile", then "Machine..."
    3. Select the VPN profile that you downloaded
    4. A confirmation window should appear saying successful import
  10. When done, you can now use the VPN. Perform the following to get connected:
    1. Navigate to the right side of the taskbar where the application icons are
    2. Right-click on the key symbol
    3. When the window appears, select "Connect to" and Choose the profile of the campus you want to connect to (Most of the time, it will be Upper-Campus)
    4. Enter your Single Sign-On username and password in the "User Authentication" fields
    5. Click "Connect" at the bottom
